The Hudgins Transitional Entrepreneurship Lab is research driven. Our faculty directors and affiliate researchers are active in conducting scholarly research in the general domain of entrepreneurship, social and international entrepreneurship, and entrepreneurial dynamics in marginalized contexts or groups. With that, our lab seeks to serve as a research hub that helps to both generate and disseminate research on transitional entrepreneurs that not only advantages the research-oriented mission of ±¬ÁϹÏ, but also offer practical insights and value to the local entrepreneurial ecosystem.

We also offer bespoke public lectures, seminar series, and "research insights" workshops on request to both local entrepreneurship-focused organizations, public sector initiatives, and to select groups of our lab affiliated mentors and mentees. As a research-driven lab, our scholarly output and speaking engagements seek to translate cutting edge findings from journal publications and conferences to practical insights for those interested or working in the area of transitional entrepreneurship.
